Usamimi/Bunny ears headbands
Trendy floral print, usamimi headbands a.k.a. bunny ears. The bunny ears trend was first spotted at Louis Vuitton fall fashion show in Paris. These headbands are their toned down counterparts that are very popular in Japan and Korea. Usamimi headbands are wired so you can bend them easily. Plus, you can wear them in a variety of ways, as shown in this picture.

Floral print bow headbands
Lovely headbands that remind me of Topshop’s floral bow headband. Bow headbands look good with peter pan collar top, short full skirt, colored socks and a cute pair of shoes. But if you’re too lazy to dress up because of the weather (like me!) just wear a pretty, summer dress.

PS. a retail clothing store near my school asked me to consign a few days ago :D I hope it turns out well, wish me luck. :) And oh happy mother’s day to your moms!
Panda eyes

I’ve always steered clear away from heavy black eyeliner because it emphasizes the unevenness of my eyes. My left eyelid is more prominent than the right. Yes, my eyes are also half Filipina and half Chinese. :)) The trick I do, before, to fix it is apply a lot more in my right eye than my left. But this only looks good when my eyes are open because when they’re closed, it’s really noticeable that the eyeliner isn’t applied evenly hence making me look like a panda.

But yesterday I’ve found out the secret and that is: blending! Which is barely a secret at all since I’ve tried blending before and it didn’t work. Maybe it also helps if you have a good liner (I’m loving my Revlon Colorstay eyeliner) and the determination to get out of the wash room looking, well, at least presentable (it’s very hard to remove black eyeliner and I didn’t have any tissue with me). I also applied most of the eyeliner in the outer corners and didn’t extend it since I’m not aiming for the cat eye look which only makes my eyes look smaller.

Anyway, I’m more than happy that I’ve pulled this off since I plan to dress up as Little J for Kat’s Gossip Girl themed debut this Saturday, but I still need to practice though. :D And oh, I also went to Trixie’s condo yesterday so she can help me with my Techdraw plates (thank you *u*). She showed me this make up tutorial in Youtube which she wanted to imitate. We used her sister’s mahiwagang baul of pretty cosmetics. *envy* I am super supportive of Trixie to trudge on the path of girlyness haha!
