Shoes I bought at the I’m Shoe in Love bazaar a few weeks ago, absolute bargains! ♥

I also bought a yellow nail polish from Elianto and got a green one for free which I gave to my mom. I think it was my first time to go to Taguig since it’s pretty far from home, I went with these two gorgeous girls by the way. Unfortunately, I got sick during the latter part of our trip because I ran through the rain the day before, hoping to catch the train “early” since my class ends at 9 pm. :( Thank you so much to Nikita and Kat for taking care of me! :3

Creepy thing happened on our way home though when Kat and I rode a cab. The taxi driver was extra friendly to us and had a penchant for techno music (he was eagerly switching radio stations until he found that techno one). When Kat left for her stop (I was all alone inside the cab but Kat kept watching over me at a distance and didn’t stop until we rode off), he opened the trunk and seemed to have taken something from there (could be a gun, a knife or both!! PANIC), it took him a while to get back. I switched seats and sat behind the driver’s seat so he wouldn’t be able to grab me easily.
During the ride (It was already quite late, around 10-11 pm), he asked me if I want to keep the lights in the car on, of course I said yes (God knows what could have happened if I said no). I got pretty scared so I kept my tough face on, checked the locks and started preparing myself internally to jump off the car the moment he does something funny. Good thing he didn’t and I got home safe and sound. :)

My new shoes from Trunk Show! ♥ I’ve already worn the hot pink one last Friday during my Philippine Fashion Week (mis)adventure with Sam. More on that later. ;) Which pair do you like best? :D
Trunk Show
Trunk Show is a local clothing, footwear and accesories store owned by Miss Bem Lim. Specifically located at the 2nd Level of Trinoma Mall, North Edsa, Quezon City and also at the 2nd Level of Powerplant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati. But if you want to shop in the comfort of your own home, you can visit their online store at Multiply.

Predominantly known for their stylish shoes, Trunk Show has expanded by adding accesories and apparels in their collections for fashion-savvy ladies. The brand is known for incorporating modern details to classic styles and for their design variety. You can go from casual chic to trendy diva or dainty doll without hurting your pocket. The brand outlets may be small but they are beautifully furnished and successfully maximized without looking cluttered.

I’ve been a fan of Trunk Show ever since I stumbled upon their online store last year and bought my first pair. What I love about them aside from having limited stocks (which means less chances of seeing another girl wearing the same pair as you) is that their products are versatile especially their shoes which are trendy yet wearable! I’ve worn Alana, a 3.5 inch high booties while commuting to school and it didn’t kill my feet. I even got featured on a style website. ;)

I went to Trinoma yesterday to finally pick up the four pairs of shoes I ordered a few months ago which I bought as birthday gifts for myself (when I turned 18!). The reason why I’ve just picked them up now, is that last term, my classes end late and I didn’t want to risk it since I’m not really familiar with the place. Plus, I’ve had enough of getting remarks from random manong epal/passersby whenever I go home late… psst, sexy… hi Sandara. /wrist

Fortunately, the owner is accommodating and patient so ta-da! My shoes are still there and they are as lovely as ever. I really should have gotten them earlier! I’ll post the pictures tomorrow. In the meantime, check out Trunk Show’s latest collection which is very summer themed (as seen in the photos); animal prints, nautical stripes, flowy tank tops, pretty penny loafers, boat shoes, dainty braided sandals, wooden clogs, boater hats and so much more! I suggest you drop by Trunk Show yourself and shop your heart out because all their items are reasonably priced ranging from 450 to less than 2k php. Happy shopping! :)
PS. I just found out that one of my sister’s friends was classmates with the owner. My ate told me when she saw my Trunk Show shopping bags at our room… small world!

Strappy studded heels from People are People (Syrup Los Angeles, USA)
I wore this pair on my birthday and a recent date with Kev. :) Some people get impressed on my ability to commute, even on rush hours, wearing high heels. Which is a skill innate on petite girls :)) chos! It was love at first sight (lol) when I saw this at People are People. I must admit though, their clothes are rip-offs/overpriced. I mean, for a local retail store that doesn’t even manufacture or design their own clothes, their price range is ridiculous. And haven’t you noticed that PRP clothes don’t have tags with their own name (People are People) but with different brands (like Denim Spice)? I read here that they just get their supplies from Bangkok and their shirt designs are simply imitations. Proof? I bought a pair of pants from them once, imagine my dismay the next day when I saw an exact replica of it at a tiangge (most tiangges get their supplies from Bangkok too) for probably more than half the price, ugh. But I like their shoes; they’re gorgeous and unusually affordable. Such a shame that the quality didn’t impress me that much. It was only the 2nd time I wore this pair when one of the straps suddenly snapped while I was walking. :|
I bought this cute pair yesterday :) I’m starting to buy a lot of flats now since I finally gave up on wearing heels at school… it’s suicide!! :| Anyway, I only had 1 class yesterday which was P.E. (dance) we were asked to choreograph a folk dance with the aid of a (confusing) written guide of the Cariñosa dance steps and I’m quite proud of myself because I actually got to help (and I can’t dance at all!). I racked my brain trying to remember all the folk dances I had to endure throughout high school and it paid well. The prof said we were very good and our choreography was awesome yeaaah! :> After class, I met up with Kev in SM to watch Toy Story 3 and have lunch.
PS. I had my bangs cut short last Tuesday haha surprise surprise… I’ll probably blog about that & our date tomorrow. :)
I bought these babies today ♥o♥
Kev and I went on a date… it’s his first day of class and it’s been weeks since we last saw each other. I really missed him. :) We ate at The French Baker, their service is quite horrible :l but the food is awesome! After eating, I went shopping and he had his haircut at David’s, he likes his new hair a lot and I do too, he looks neat now! And oh, we also ran into some old classmates, Bianca and Lawrence.
